40 minutes away from Guatapé is this natural paradise with crystal clear rivers, waterfalls and exuberant vegetation, where marmoset monkeys live, dozens of species of birds, reptiles and all kinds of fauna. It is an area that has remained almost virgin because it was guerrilla territory during the Colombian armed conflict, which prevented people from visiting it for many years so it did not develop like other areas closer to the city. Today we can enjoy this natural wonder in total peace.

DAY 1
*Pick up at your accommodation in Medellín to start a trip of almost 2 hours to the area of ??El Peñol and Guatapé.

*From Guatapé we travel 40 minutes to reach the Arenales River, on the outskirts of San Rafael, where we check in at a hotel that offers amenities such as rooms with TV and private bathroom, swimming pool and restaurant, located on the banks of the river in a completely natural environment.
DAY 2
*Hike through the mountains, passing through rivers, forests and viewpoints to reach a waterfall where we can refresh ourselves with a bath of pure water. Duration approx. 2.5 hours round trip.
*Enjoy the hotel until after noon.
*Return to Medellin.
